What is “off-call” Birth Photography

At Bethany E. Birth Co, we believe that every family deserves to capture the unforgettable moments of birth, and that these moments should be beautifully preserved if desired. We know that professional birth photography is a luxury, and we want to make it accessible to as many families as possible. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with The Atlanta Birth Center and the introduction of Off-Call Birth Photography.

This new offering comes from a place of deep respect for both the art of birth photography and the financial realities families face. Traditionally, on-call birth photography can be quite costly due to the need for babysitters, backup photographers, and other expenses. To provide a more affordable option without compromising on quality, we’ve introduced Off-Call sessions.

• Off-Call Sessions: You secure your spot with a deposit. If I’m able to attend your birth without the usual on-call stresses (like arranging childcare or backup), I’ll be there to capture those precious moments. If not, your deposit will convert to a Fresh 48 session (before you leave the birth center), ensuring you still get beautiful photos of your new arrival.
• Benefits for You: Off-Call Birth Photography offers significant savings compared to a traditional on-call package. It’s easier on your budget and more manageable for me, allowing me to focus on delivering high-quality images when I can.
• What This Means: If you’re open to the possibility of me missing your birth but are guaranteed a Fresh 48 session, this option could be perfect for you. It’s a cost-effective way to capture your family’s early moments without the financial strain.
